Blackout May 22, 2011

Filed under: Poetry — poetrybee @ 7:44 pm

I’m not mad, I’m just frustrated

I’m not angry, I’m just irritated

My life has faded

The escalators escalated

On a level I have never been to

Paper is all I can put my pen to

Orange you sad I feel blue?

I’ve been to a new universe

It’s a blessing disguised as a curse

At first, I thought it was what I asked for

Now our soul is knocking on my floor boards

They can’t find the door

It’s not there fault, they’re blind

Arms and legs tied, in binds

Can’t get my thoughts out of my mind

I wish I could go back, but still see ahead of time

Too much on my brain, I wish I could just snap out

I’m sorry if I have a daze on my face

It’s called a blackout
